Tips on
Feeding your Horse
When feeding your horse, you can choose from a variety of items in the shop, from Corn and Carrots, to Beans and Hay.
You probably have noticed that your horse dislikes certain foods, but reacts positively to others. And you may even think that your horse doesn't make much sense in its taste, because it will reject a food at certain times but accept it with open arms at other times.
This is actually not random, and there's a science to this.

This is actually not random, and there's a science to this.
Firstly, there's a difference between Snacks and Full Meals.
Snacks will only partially saciate your horse's hunger. While full meals will fill their bellies with less items. Snacks present in the game are: Corn, Carrots, and Sugar Cubes. Full Meals present in the game are: Barley, Hay, Beans and Grass. Check the Horse Care page for more in-depth descriptions. |
Your horse will accept certain Snacks and Full Meals when it's only partially hungry, and others when it's very hungry!
Pay attention to the icons that show up in your Horse's Menu (shortcut '1') to know what you should feed it.

The "exact" science" to this is that:
- When your horse is Partially Hungry, it will like exactly 1 specific Snack and 1 specific Full Meal.
- When your horse is Very Hungry, it will also preffer exactly 1 specific Snack and 1 specific Full Meal.
My advice is:
- Only feed your horse Full Meals that they like. This is because it takes less items to fill them up and you waste less time. In addition, Full Meals aren't that much more expensive than other items.
- Pay close attention to your horse's preferred meals both when it's Partially Hungry and Very Hungry. This will make it faster to take care of your horse, because after all, if you feed your horse food it doesn't like, you will have to waste more food until it gets full (be it Snacks or Full Meals).
